If you did not
know, when you purchase licenses of VMware vSphere (Standard, Enterprise or
Enterprise+) you would be entitled to licenses of SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLES) for VMware.
Well, this
offering will be removed on July 25th, 2014, when VMware will be
announcing the End of Availability (EOA) of it.
Since it will
not be available for purchase anymore, for how long can I still use the product
?
To the ones who acquire it, for as long as you want.
VMware will provide
support and fixes for a limited period of time, there will also be a Long Term
Service Pack Support, check KB2080129 for all the details.
For a long term
solution I advise you all to check the options directly with SUSE.
